Optimus Alive! 2011 - Lisbon festival takes place in July 03.06.2011
Coldplay, Foo Fighter, Iggy & The Stooges, The Chemical Brothers, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Kaiser Chiefs and many others have been added to the bill for this year's Optimus Alive! 11 festival in Lisbon.
The Lisbon festival also features Xutos e Pontapés.
The four day event takes place at Passeio Maritimo de Algés in Lisbon, Portugal, between July 6-9.

Sintra-Cascais Natural Park 22.04.2010
The Sintra-Cascais Natural Park was created in March 1994, and includes an area parallel to the coast, extending from the Cascais Citadel to the estuary of the Falcão River, Sintra Mountain and agricultural area north of the Colares Várzea.
The park is divided in two different areas: the agricultural area, that produces mainly fruit and wine, and the coastal areas, with beaches, cliffs and dunes.
It shows an amazing diversity of ambiences and landscapes, including dunes, forests, lagoons an uneven coastline, the imposing Cabo da Roca, and in the centre, the magnificent Sintra Mountain. The whole area is included in UNESCO's list of world heritage cultural landscape sites.
Within the park, there are several thriving species of oaks, eucalyptus and pine trees, and in the Sintra Mountain you can find a luxuriant vegetation which is peculiar to the microclimate of the area. Regarding the fauna, the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park has birds of prey such as falcons, owls and sparrow-hawks, many sea birds and also several species of reptiles and amphibians.

Lisbon Fish & Flavours 2010 returns April 10th – 18th to Parque das Nações 09.04.2010
The third edition of Lisbon fish & flavours (Peixe em Lisboa ) bring some of the best restaurants from the Lisbon area, including three Michelin stars. It also makes a bet on the Brazilian Cuisine and reinforces the internationalization of the initiative.
Organized by the Tourism Association of Lisbon (Associação de Turismo de Lisboa), the event will take place, just like last year, in Pavilhão de Portugal, in Parque das Nações from April 10th to 18th.
As for the participant Chefs, the Spanish Joan Roca, one of the most quoted Chefs of today and co-owner of the restaurant El Celler de Can Roca, who in 2009 received his third Michelin star, and with that reaching the highest rate, will certainly receive the major attention. The event is also betting in the cuisine practice in Brazil with the participation of six Brazilian renowned chefs.
Lisbon fish & flavours (Peixe em Lisboa), will have 12 restaurants led by renowned Chefs. These restaurants will be open permanently from midday to midnight and will have tastings of fish and seafood.
