The Sintra-Cascais Natural Park was created in March 1994, and includes an area parallel to the coast, extending from the Cascais Citadel to the estuary of the Falcão River, Sintra Mountain and agricultural area north of the Colares Várzea.

The three day event takes place at Passeio Maritimo de Algés in Lisbon, Portugal, between July 8-10.

Portugal has a surprisingly large variety of gastronomic delights. From Minho to Algarve, Portuguese diet include fish, chicken, vegetables and fruits. Pork, goat, partridge, quail and rabbit are typical meats in Portugal.

The Rio Carnival may be the most famous in the world but in Portugal the Carnival is also celebrated on February 16th in a dazzling show of street parades, floats and parties.

Carnival traditionally celebrates the ending of winter and the beginning of Lent. In Lisbon there aren't big festivities in the streets but some Bars and discos will have some kind of parties related to the theme on the night before (Monday to Tuesday) also you'll see some kids in costumes on the previous Sunday.
