On 29th November, a gigantic Christmas tree, located on the famous Parque Eduardo VII in Lisbon, will be officially hand over in a colourful ceremony. 1 625 000 micro-lamps will give new life to the scenic grounds of the tree that will illuminate Lisbon during the Christmas period, between 5.30 pm. and 01.00 am.

Every November, Lisbon begins to be full of Christmas street lights. Lisbon's Baixa (downtown), Chiado, Rossio, and Avenida da Liberdade are some of that places. This luminous atmosphere can be enjoyed whilst Christmas shopping throughout Lisbon's shopping districts. An excellent opportunity to become acquainted with the city's streets and Christmas customs.
